Writer's ramblings

Story development, character led!

As the final book in a trilogy the resolution of TB 3 seems particularly important, and it also seems important to find the ending that fits the theme of the books. I have been struggling with this, but a weird thing just happened: in conversation two characters developed opinions that switched things around and brought the theme centre stage. I feel I have to go with the new direction and mood this gives the end of the book, even though it is darker than I had envisaged. This is a strange feeling, and it brings out the difference between books that sit in your desk drawer and books that have readers!

    1. Hi, thanks for getting in touch. The good news is TB3 is finished!

TB3 is now published and available on Kindle. It is submitted and in the process at Smashwords where it is waiting for review for the premium catalogue. Once it passes the review it will be shipped to the different distributors. I'm afraid I'm not sure quite how long either of these steps this will take so I haven't made the announcement that it's available. I'll let you know when it passes review and is ready to be shipped.
